Porsche 550A Spyder silver model

This 1:12 scale model pays homage to the Porsche 550A Spyder, a car that solidified Porsche's reputation in motorsport in the 1950s. Introduced in 1957, the 550A featured a lightweight, space-frame chassis and a 1.5-liter boxer engine that produced approximately 135 horsepower, allowing it to compete successfully against larger and more powerful rivals.

This marble-based model is the convertible version, finished in a classic white/red exterior and rich burgundy interiors, capturing the minimalist and efficient design of the original.

The agility and performance of the 550A led to significant victories, including an overall victory at the 1956 Targa Florio, marking Porsche's first major international triumph.
